Looking for a MySainsburys app to check your payslips or rota on your phone? Many colleagues search for it, only to find out things work a bit differently than expected.

There’s no dedicated MySainsburys app. The official app is called Colleague Hub, developed by Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd. Employees often call it the MySainsburys app, but that’s not its actual name in the app stores.

This app is for Sainsbury’s colleagues to use when answering queries in Sainsbury’s stores. It is accessible only by using your Sainsbury’s Digital ID.

How to download the Colleague Hub app

Important: Search for “Colleague Hub” not “MySainsburys” in your app store.

For Android:

  1. Open Google Play Store.
  2. Search “Colleague Hub Sainsbury’s”.
  3. Download the app by Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd.
  4. 50k+ downloads already.

For iOS:

  1. Open Apple App Store.
  2. Search “Colleague Hub”.
  3. Download and install.

How to log in

The app is accessible only by using your Sainsbury’s Digital ID. Same work email and password you use for the MySainsburys portal.

  1. Open the Colleague Hub app.
  2. Enter your Sainsbury’s Digital ID.
  3. Enter your password.
  4. Complete verification if prompted.
  5. You’re in.

What the app does

  • Store queries – Answer customer questions while on the shop floor

  • Stock information – Check product availability
  • Mobile access – Quick access without a store computer

What the app doesn’t do

For full employee self-service features, use the MySainsburys web portal at:

  • Payslips and P60 documents
  • Full rota and Kronos scheduling
  • HR services and requests
  • Shift swaps and leave booking
  • Personal details updates

Known issues

Being honest here. The app has a 2.5 star rating on Google Play. Some colleagues report:

  • App crashes or closes a second or two after opening
  • Nothing loads, just an endless loading wheel
  • Stock search hanging while loading

Quick fixes to try:

  • Uninstall and reinstall the app
  • Check your internet connection
  • Make sure app is updated to latest version
